The Clerk of Superior and State Courts has been made aware of recent instances of scammers calling or texting people and claiming to be representatives of the Court. This is known as spoofing. Please be aware that the Court does not call or text members of the public who are parties in a case directly to request information. If you receive a call from an unverified caller, do not send any money or share personal information. If you have a pending case, you will receive written documentation from the Clerk of Superior & State Courts.If you need to speak to a Clerk’s Office staff member, you can contact the Clerk’s Office at (706) 653-4370 during normal hours of operation (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).If you believe you have received a scam call, you can report it to the Federal Trade Commission online at reportfraud.ftc.gov or by calling 1-877-382-4357. The FTC is the primary government agency that collects scam complaints. You can also report unwanted calls to the National Do Not Call Registry.

Muscogee County Superior Court Clerk's Office in conjunction with the Georgia Superior Court Clerks' Cooperative Authority (GSCCCA) is pleased to offer the Filing Activity Notification System, FANS, providing Georgia citizens with tools to monitor activity regarding their property and records.
Effective January 1, 2020, filing fees for real estate documents, UCCs, certain types of liens, and plays are changing.
Danielle Forté is the Muscogee County Clerk of Superior & State Courts. In this role she is responsible for the oversight and administration of a broad yet critical information management system that includes the community’s most vital court and real estate records, dating as far back as the late 1800s. In addition to ensuring millions of these public documents are secure and available, the Clerk’s office is also responsible for the major financial management system of the courts and directs key administrative functions in the judicial system. The Office of the Clerk is also responsible for oversight and supervision of our local property tax appeal boards, the Board of Equalization.
